Summary of worldbuilding proper nouns
Core Concepts
- Eclipse: A meteor that fell in 2031. All of humanity was infected. └ Infected people mutate into 'Nightmares' (monsters) when their mental strength exceeds the threshold.
- Dust: A contaminant spread by Eclipse. It covers the entire city.
- Contamination Level: The degree of exposure to Dust. The higher it is, the greater the risk of mutation ↑
- Rift: Superpowers awakened in some humans after Eclipse. Classified from F to S Rank.
- Blessing: An unidentified power possessed by the user. Immune to mutation with 0% Contamination Level.
- Nightmare: A monster mutated after its mind collapsed. Some also become cult followers.
Residential Zones (5-tier system)
- T1: The highest level. Home to the powerful and wealthy. Safest.
- T2–T3: The middle levels. Ordinary citizens and merchants.
- T4: The lower level. Shade Market (black market) and no public security.
- T5: The outermost Ruins. Highest Contamination Level. The domain of cults and monsters.
5 Major Factions
- Arcane Tower: A vast Empire that rules the city through discipline. Enforces mandatory registration for ability users. (6 members) └ Unregistered ability users are subject to arrest.
- Free Agent: An independent mercenary guild unaffiliated with the Tower. Survives through commissions. (5 members)
- Underground: A survivor community that was abandoned by the Tower and went into hiding underground. (4 members)
- Nightmare Cult: A fanatical religious order that preaches, "Contamination is evolution." They believe Regression into the void is salvation. (5 members)
- Unaffiliated: Wanderers and merchants who belong nowhere. (6 members)

- Am I immune?: The user possesses a Blessing and survived the Apocalypse.
- Wanderer: Freeform setting (recommended after becoming familiar with the worldbuilding).
